On August 29, 2012, our members met at the Hundley-Whaley Research Center in Albany, Missouri to install a set of test plots to advance the Center’s drainage research efforts and it was a great success! About 250 landowners and contractors came to watch Missouri LICA members install drain tile, as well as learn about other research projects at the Center. A special THANK YOU goes out to Jim Bledsoe who chaired the committee; Hostetter Construction, who donated its crew and trencher; Bruce Burdick and the staff of the Hundley-Whaley Research Center, for making us feel so welcome and feeding us; and to Agri Drain Corp.; Murphy Tractor, Foley Equipment, Scheib Drainage Products, and Prinsco, Inc. for donating the stop logs, equipment, tile, and manpower … as well as to all the LICA contractors who took time out from their businesses to help! And thank you, Larry LaFollette, for the use of your plane and piloting skills for the aerial shots! For details, click here.
